End-terrace house

Motril, Granada

Architects: Manuel Díaz Soler | Rocío Martí Rodríguez   Phase: concept design   Total floor area: 200m2    Location: Motril, Granada   Client: private

We were commissioned to do a semi-detached house in a row of housing developments. The ordinances require a re-opening of the road, which generates the main patio, a large south-facing space, which will relate to the summer patio (north), through the dining-kitchen: the backbone of the house.

The light, transparency, and the possibility of completely opening the cloths that connect both patios, generate an interior / exterior space that allows to enjoy the good climate of the area throughout the year.   The day spaces are visually interconnected generating wide spaces linked to the different courtyards, the night area can be closed and independent of the rest.
